As a Personal Historian, I record interviews to document and preserve the significant events and memorable experiences of your life. I can then produce Oral Histories and/or Video Documentaries and/or Personal History Websites to be shared with family, friends and future generations.
As a member of the Oral History Association, I follow OHA Best Practices when I record Personal History Interviews. The four key elements of oral history work are Preparation, Interviewing, Preservation, and Access. Oral Historians give careful consideration to each of these four elements at the start of any personal history project, regardless of whether it is audio or video or comprised of one or many recorded interviews.
After twenty great years as a copywriter and broadcast producer in the advertising industry, I embraced online marketing communications by founding HG Media, a website design and video production company in Princeton New Jersey.
I currently spend my time producing podcasts and providing personal history services here in Princeton New Jersey. I invite you to contact me with any Personal History questions or service requests you may have. I would be happy to assist you.
