FAQ: Why should I publish different videos on each of my social media channels?
ANSWER: YouTube is a different environment than is LinkedIn, than is your website. Since each media appeal to a different audience, it is important to create versions of your video message specific to the media where they are published.
Another frequently asked question is, "How many uses are there for my videos?" I mean, I make a video, I can put it on Facebook, I can put it on other social media, I can put it on my web pages. And a lot of people do, but you really should have a strategy for your videos, first of all, in terms of what you're hoping that they accomplish, and then you should recognize that YouTube is a different environment than is LinkedIn, than is your website. It's like, you wouldn't play the same television commercial on all different kinds of networks.
So the idea with video is that it's important to create versions of your video message specific to the media that they are going to be on.
